design
emails
content blasts
During my time at K12 Insight, I was asked to create a new email series to help promote webinars aimed at educating existing users of our software. I quite enjoyed creating little scenes with the limited space. The main goal was to illustrate seasonal spirit while keeping the email sizes minimal. On the back end, the entire image was written into a link that would lead to the sign-up page for the webinars.
apps
match making
I decided to learn app design a few years back, and came up with my idea of imaginary match-making app. Looking back now, this was quite obviously designed in February of that year. This was created using Adobe XD.
video editing
I also designed a non-linear video editing suite with nearly all the features found in a desktop program. I’d really like to see in the real world. This was designed in Illustrator, and I’m sure it would yield quite an enormous prototype in XD, Sketch, or Figma.
icons
interface design
This is from my first foray into icon design back in 2017. I was needing to recreate interfaces at work for some marketing videos, so I started playing with different styles at home for practice. These were all created in Illustrator.

story design
books
I illustrated, edited, and formatted two books for publishing in 2018. The first was Boo Toots – a story about a little ghost with scary problems – which came out in the spring, and the second was Mine Does! – a story about a little monster who has a wild imagination.
gifs
Over the years, I’ve dedicated time to creating GIFs of different styles and purposes. These three above are minimalist, and are intended to represent (from left to right): Motion, UI Design, and Print Design.
These three gifs are intended to show character motion and reactions. The left depicts an office scene where there’s a lot of email bombardment. The middle depicts two dogs and their different strides due to their size. The one on the right depicts a small dragon in the style of old Looney Tunes skits.
In the summer of 2017, I created this series of three location GIFs to show a looping moment from the beach, a desert, and the night sky above the clouds. I’m very proud of these, in particular.
My favorite piece of graphic design so far has been this Desert Dragon GIF. I’ve always loved the look of Long dragons, so creating one in the distance with a hint of mystery was a pleasure to accomplish.
