B2B Case Study

While working for a consulting company specializing in Proposal Management Services, I was tasked with designing and prototyping a website to convert traffic into new clients for a B2B service we planned to roll out.

A major solution we had to solve was ushering different prospective clients with different needs to different types of support offerings. To do this, we bisected our services into “Business” and “Enterprise”.

Business was the more limited plan for small businesses and joint ventures. Enterprise was for large non-profits and corporations who needed a lot more support.

With our user journey mapped out, I quickly developed a low-fidelity wireframe for the entire service website. This took a morning, then some fiddling to adjust some quality-of-life elements.

I use Figma because it’s free and it’s got a lot of different utility. They even have a presentation design tool now, so there’s so much that can be done with it.

Once our CEO was happy with the layout and flow of the site, I added our logo (not seen here) and brand colors and style to make everything tie together as a unified experience.

After a day of tweaking and quality review, we sent it to the back-end developers to develop into a fully functional site for our new services.
