When we had the opportunity to write an article for the IAEM Bulletin, we immediately knew it should include an informative graphic. 

I worked with the SBD VP to identify our target audience, outline the entire article, then create a design map to plan our content hierarchies and layout.

I used the National EMR brand style guide create color hierarchy and to inform the visual language of this full-page graphic. I then created a low-fidelity draft to share with the VP, and we began our iterative process from there.

After multiple cycles of feedback and implementation, I finalized the design for submission and it appeared in the following June issue .
